My gas is FINALLY hooked back up. After calling everyone last night to get it taken care of, it was finally turned back on.
Since I have so much Laundry to do, I figured I would make today and tomorrow a laundry day and do some Spring Cleaning. I am actually looking forward to it. I'll turn on some good music, wash everything, scrub my heart out, eat pizza, and crack open the windows. It'll be nice to get most everything back in order and hopefully I'll get to get some of our pictures and stuff hung up too!
Here's what's on my list.
Organize dirty clothes to get washed and get the laundry going.
Fold and Iron all laundry.
Pick up bedroom, wash sheets and pilow cases.
Dust and Vacuum, Take out trash in Kitchen, Bathrooms, Family Room and Bedrooms
Organize messy dresser drawers
Check under my bed to make sure nothing is out of place
Organize Desk area, get paperwork sorted and bills paid
Hang up cute new outdoor lights?
Still deciding on if I should put up the Easter Decorations and get some new summer ones up?
Sweep and Mop Kitchen and Bathrooms, Clean off counters and organize cupboards
Clean Tubs and Showers out.
I figure the majority of this stuff will take most of the night. I am really excited to get it done though! Hopefully, Steve will want to help me too.
Tomorrow, I want to make a cake or treats of some sort to take to all the people who've helped us out with everything-- Like my new friend Sherri offered to let us do laundry at her house and my upstairs neighbor Zach he helped out with the fixing of the gas leak and gave me a ride to work last week with my car in the shop and I'll probably take some to some other neighbors too who have been so nice to me and Steve.
I also need to go to the local Sporting Good Store to get some good work out shoes for Steve and a bat because we are in a coed softball team for the summer. I am really looking forward to it.

Gas Leak Update.
One week ago, My property owner and manager surprized Steve and I at our condo. They told us that there was no gas leak, that my property owner had called the gas company and figured it out and that they had turned the gas back on and that the plumber would come hook the appliances back up. Well, Plumber was here this morning, still says he have a gas leak. He won't hook it back up and even if he did-- the gas company never turned the gas back on. I am really done with all of this. Oh well. At least I get to go Utah this weekend.

I Miss Him :(
Steve has been in Utah and I haven't seen him since Sunday. I miss him so much. I printed out a picture of him and hung it at my desk and I think it is making it worse. I can't wait for him to come home. He is so wonderful. I've blogged at some of the silly stuff he does and also some of the stuff we've learned since we've been married, but I have never written down just some of the reasons I love him. He might not ever read these, but here it goes.
- He's a major goof ball, I especially love it when he giggles.
- He is usually a very happy camper in the morning. He's even better if he gets to sit by the heater in the morning.
- When I wake up. I look awful. My bangs stick straight up and the rest of my hair is crazy. Sometimes I still have yesterday's makeup smeared all over my face. He still thinks I'm beautiful.
- He helps with the cooking and the cleaning and tries to help with paying the bills.
- He leaves me surprises. Like flowers or notes. Sometimes it is just a piece of candy from the gas station that he knows I like. I love them all.
- He takes really good care of me when I don't feel well and doesn't get grossed out by lots of gross tissues or gross coughing.
- He holds my hand, gives me loves, and kisses whenever I want them. He is not one of those guys who won't hold your hand.
- He loves me for me, he always has and is so patient with me.
- He tries everyday to be better husband, I can't imagine a more perfect husband--even if he doesn't enjoy taking out the trash.
Steve has always been there for me, even when he didn't have to be. I love him so much.
Isn't funny how when your with someone so much, you come to love the little goofy things they do?

Easter Weekend
Easter is one of my favorite times of the year. Spring is coming, general conference, Cadbury Eggs and peeps, and spending time with family-- I love everything about it. . . except taxes! This year, we spent the Easter Morning at my Dad's with a fabulous pancake and bacon breakfast and the afternoon with Steve's parents. The Easter bunny came to my sister's house the night before while the boys were at priesthood.
I Just Can't Win
This last week Steve has been in Utah and Steve's Dad has been with me in Casper. Well, My gas is now turned on but my oven and dryer still aren't hooked up. Basically, I have a lot of dirty clothes and Frozen Pizza's begging to be cooked.
Since I have no oven to cook, we have been going out for dinner. Last night, my father in law really wanted Spaghetti. We've had no Luck with Olive Garden as you know so we tried another Italian Restaurant in town. It's called Bosco's. It seemed kind of appealing because it's been in Casper forever, it's locally owned, and seemed like a mom and pop kitchen. What could be bad about that?
We get there, and it looks pieced together. Christmas lights, picture of George W hanging up next to the state wrestler champs of 1995. Candles for sale, Corona and O'douls salt and pepper shakers, menus made with Microsoft Word, seating for 50-60 ppl, and dinners that were surprisingly expensive and not to mention that your paper placemat also showed what cocktails they had, the drink's pictures, and what they were made out of. I will try to post some pictures, but the restaurant was super dark too!
My father in law ordered spaghetti and I got the Lasagna that I was craving last week when we went to Olive Garden. Both of us received salad and bread with our dinners. However, my lasagna dinner also received a cup of chicken noodle soup.
My soup was hot-- but tasted like it was made over three weeks ago. The noodles were mush and I didn't dare eat the chicken and the base was too green for my preference.
The salads were good, minus the black olives-- they had a very bad taste to them. The non garlic bread I liked and the garlic bread my father in law liked.
The dinner was a crack up though. We were served giant portions of pasta and Lasagna. My Lasagna was okay but drowned in red sauce. It was really not a whole lot more than a frozen lasagna. My father in law's spaghetti with meat balls was awful though!!! He told me I just had to try them because they were so bad!!! I had to gag them down. The consistency was more like paste than meat--so gross. We basically picked at my lasagna until we weren't hungry enough to go to another place and get food.
When our waitress asked if we wanted dessert I was too scared to have it be disgusting or just blah so I opted out. Especially after like 3 out of the 12 desserts were made in house rather than brought in (Maybe that was a good thing?). My father in law decided that it could be worth a try and he ordered a piece of carrot cake to go-- Our waitress went to go get it and came back to inform us that they were all out.
I just can't seem to win with a bunch of the Casper restaurants. So far Outback, a local Steakhouse called "Firerock," another place called "Sanford's", McDonald's, Burger King, a place called "Happy Sushi", and Quiznos are the only places that haven't let me down.
The list that has let me down seems twice as long and is almost sad, and it usually takes A LOT to make me unhappy at a restaurant. The worst part is now I totally expect it wherever I go. When I go out in Utah now, I am like flabergasted when I get food that is hot, what I ordered, and no hair! It is so wonderful.
Arby's- Served my sandwich on a hard/burnt bun and often forgets your curly fries.
Subway- Kids behind the counter are probably about to pop a cap in someone--so emo, so scary!
Olive Garden- Where should I start? Hair in food, crummy manager, out of everything, forgets half of your to go order.
A local Mexican Restaurant called "Gaudalajara's"- Server doesn't speak English and food was soggy.
Bosco's- no need to repeat myself.
Taco Bell- screws up order... more than once.
Wendy's- the girl who works the lunch shift has no communication skills or listening skills. She also seems very put out when you ask her for what you actually ordered.
One of the Mcdonald's (before new managment)- 15+ minutes waiting in the drive through for a stinking sandwich.
Taco Time- 10+ minutes in the drive through at the window waiting for my order and the order was wrong by the time I got it and their nachos suck.
These are just a few of the local food establishments that I have had a less than fabulous experience. It's really depressing--especially since I still don't have freaking gas hooked up to my oven. I just thought I would post all of this to for my many readers so none of them will never have to be less than thrilled in a Casper Restaurant. Hahahahahaha.

Olive Garden=Death, no joke.
You want some of these? Tough--you can't have them. Sad huh.
Steve and I had a gift card to Olive Garden and we decided to use it since we can't really cook anything! When we got to Olive Garden, we were seated promptly, that's a first-- until we found out why. Once we were seated, we decided to get our order in fast. We found out after we ordered that they were out of breadsticks, out of salad dressing, out of lasagna--seemed like they were out of everything. I was so bummed! No breadsticks was torture and no manager to apologize or anywhere to be found was even worse.
As we were walking out, I found an envelope with stuff in it and it said patient name on it. I picked it up closed the envelope and took it back inside. I asked for a manager. Still no manager so I gave it to the girl at the front desk. I told her what I had found and that I didn't want to look inside because I thought it could be personal. She opened it anyways. At that point, I asked that she lock it up and walked out. SO BUGGED.
The last time we were there, I found a hair in my food---GROSS and the dish I ordered made me sick to my stomach all night long and into the next day. Come to find out, my coworker ordered the same dish the same night and was sick to her stomach too.
Olive Garden, you've had better days. You cut me deep. Loser.
