Things I Have Learned Since I Have Been Married. . .
1. Showers are much better taken together. Saves hot water.2. Sometimes it's fun to fight-- but not real fighting. Mainly just so you can make up.3. Macaroni and Cheese is a gourmet meal.4. Boys fart like onions. As soon as it's cut, it makes your eyes burn.5. Husbands are like giant Ken Dolls. You can play dress up with them.6. "Your Mom Jokes," funny, but not always a good idea.7. Family Food Storage=Celestial Grocery store.8. Paying your tithing, treat it like Nike--Just Do It.9. Boys can fix everything. Most of the time. If they want to. When it's convenient.

School Started
So school started for me and I feel like I am already behind! With school, I feel like you are always behind. I have a Geography class where the teacher thinks that he should personally convert every person in a class 0f 150 people to a Geography Major. Needless to say, out of a class of 150 now 75-90 people show up. After that, I have an hour break. I usually spend in doing homework--but lately I just want to take a nap. After my nap, I mean homework, I go to ultimate frisbee class. My teacher admitted that he has really never played the game. Oh well, I still have fun--it's fun exercise. After frisbee, I run to the locker room and shower really fast, get dressed, and run to Finance class. I actually really enjoy it. Finance class is over--now it is onto one of my design classes. I really enjoy it so far. I am just a little nervous because the major is super competitive :(

What's For Dinner. . .
For this week, Steve and I have something planned for at least one meal a day whether it is dinner, lunch or even breakfast. I am actually pretty excited. I was able to get all the stuff I needed in one trip to the store. For tonight's dinner I made spaghetti with meat sauce, Steve made a tossed salad and I made rolls for the first time! I was so pleased with myself--I didn't kill the yeast!!!!

-Love-
I have to say, I have been so lucky to have great parents, fabulous brothers and sisters, the best grandparents, and a husband who makes my world go round.
I want to share with you some of my favorite acts of kindness from various members of my family--
Daddy... My dad has always taken care of me. Even when my dad was sent halfway across the world, he would call me and make sure I was okay. Thanks dad for letting me be your little girl.
Mom... My mom will drop anything for her kids when they are in trouble. Since I moved out of the house, I have had a few moments were I needed her so much. She dropped everything to come be with me. Thanks mom for protecting your kids like a momma bear.
Betsy... My last summer home, I got really sick for a week or so and Betsy came home from work to drive me to the doctors. She made sure I was taken care of. Thanks B for helping me get better.
Amanda-- Mandi has always spent more time caring for others than she has caring for her own needs. Whenever I am having a hard day, Mandi is always offering to help, even if she is super sick. Thanks Mandi for helping me get through the tough days.
Joshua-- Joshie is a great big brother. It is hard to find Josh without a smile on his face. He can make just about anyone laugh. Thanks Josh for always making me smile.
Derek... When I was in high school, my dad went away on a very loooong business trip. While he was away, Derek would make sure that I was okay. He would call me at 10 PM every night to check and see what boys I was with and that my homework was done and to remind me he would come find me if I wasn't home soon. Thanks Derek for making my guy friends nervous when you called. It means you love me a whole lot.
Cassie... When Cassie and I were little, Cassie would dress me up like a life-size doll. As we got older, Cassie would always do my hair and make-up and pick me out a cute outfit for important days. Thanks Tassie, you helped me get ready for some of the biggest days of my life. I wouldn't have gotten through half of them without you.
Preston... Preston doesn't treat me like a sister-in-law, but rather a little sister. He looks after me just like Derek does. He and Cassie have always welcomed me into their home and made sure I was taken care of. Thanks P-diddy for letting me be your little sister, not just your sister-in-law.
Ainsley-- Ainsley and I used to beat up on each other all the time, but as we got older, Ainsley and I got really close. We would stay up really late at night laughing until Betsy told us to be quiet :) Thanks Ainsley for being my partner in crime.
Hanzel--- When Hanzel and Ainsley flew in from Costa Rica for their engagement party, Hanzel was more than willing to help were he was needed. Thanks Hanzel for being a hard worker.
Michael-- By my senior year of high school, Michael and I were the only kids left in the house. Michael and I became really good friends. I can always count on Michael for a good laugh. Thanks Mike for hanging out with me and making me laugh.
Ethan-- When I was 13, my mom adopted a baby boy named Ethan. Ever since he came into our lives, Ethan has blessed it just by being around us. Thanks E for being my little monkey!!
Steven... Steven is my knight in shining armor. He has been by my side since day one. He has come to my rescue so many times. I love him more and more everyday. Thank you Steve for being my husband, and wanting to spend your happily ever after with me.
